Idi Ebube is not just a song — it is my testimony. I received this song in 2024, in one of the lowest emotional seasons of my life. I was broken, weary, and searching for strength. And in that low place, God gave me a sound from heaven. He reminded me of the finished work of Calvary. That everything was already done. That Jesus had already paid it all. That I did not have to strive, I did not have to fight for what was already finished. On the cross, He said “It is finished” — and Idi Ebube was born from that revelation.Idi Ebube means You Are Great. It is a song of surrender, of worship, of returning all the glory to the One who turned my mourning into dancing. When I could not lift my head, He lifted my spirit. When I had no song, He gave me this song. And today, I stand as a living witness that what Jesus finished on Calvary still speaks, still heals, still lifts.
This is why I sing with all my heart — because He is truly great. Idi Ebube.
